using  new & genuine manufacturers parts wherever possible.

Please note that we can only accept items through the post.

• If you are having problems with your detector please phone or email first to discuss this, or you may send your detector with your Name, Address, Phone Number and details of the problems that you are experiencing.
  

• We only need the Control Box and Searchcoil (with cable) from your Detector, but if the Control Box is permanently fixed to the stem then send the Detector complete.
  

• If you have an older Detector then please contact us first. It is not always possible to obtain parts for older machines.
  

• Please allow a reasonable time for us to examine your Detector. As soon as we have done so we will contact you. Our aim is to carry out repairs within 7 - 10 days from receipt but we do have busy times.
  Please get in touch if your repair is urgent.
  

• If you require confirmation of delivery to us please send by carrier or Recorded/Registered post. Your proof of posting slip will have a number to call to obtain details of delivery.
  

• Minimum charges may apply if your Detector is not repairable or if you choose not to have the work carried out.
  

• If you have tried to do your own repairs and got into a mess we may be able to help. Call us first.
  

• Sorry - but we cannot supply electronic components or circuit diagrams.

Searchcoil Repairs

We can also offer a repair service for many types of searchcoil. This can include fitting new cable if damaged, and retuning to restore performance.
(A coil that is out of tune can have poor depth and discrimination).
